Roma (Rome)

uncheckedArea Sacra di largo di Torre Argentina (The Sacred Area of Largo di Torre Argentina) Origins date back to the 4th century BC- Famous for the events of Julius Caesar and the Ides of March. It is now a museum area and a cat sanctuary.

unchecked Altare della Patria (Altar of the Fatherland) Altar dedicated to the nation, its values and soldiers from past wars. 


Firenze (Florence)

unchecked Basilica de San Lorenzo (The Basilica of San Lorenzo) The most ancient cathedral in Florence consecrated in 393 AD. Michelangelo designed the Medici Chapels. The facade is a testament to “Don’t judge a book by its cover”.

unchecked Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana (The Laurentian Medici Library) Built and designed by Michelangelo in the 1500s and part of the Medici Complex. 

unchecked Palazzo Pitti (Pitti Palace) Built by Florence merchant Luca Pitti in the 15th Century and later completed by Eleonora of Toledo, the 2nd owner and wife of Cosimo I de' Medici, in the 16th century. Houses a magnificent collection of art.
